During the Winter Session all students pay resident fees. This can result in major savings for visiting and out-of-state students who normally pay higher out-of-state tuition. Basic charges for Winter Session are broken down in the table below.

It is the student's responsibility to drop a course if they do not plan to attend. Please check the dates and deadlines on this website.
Please note: Winter Session fees are calculated on a per unit basis. There is no tuition cap for Winter Session.
Some courses have Special Course Fees and Course-Related Expenses. These fees are subject to change.

Tuition is due on the first day of class, Monday, December 19, 2022. Payments made after the due date are subject to a $50 late payment charge. Students who are eligible to receive financial aid for Spring 2023 should contact Financial Aid for more information.
You will not receive a printed account summary through the U.S. mail prior to the payment due date. Students may view their winter session tuition charges on UAccess. UAccess will accept Checking, Savings, MasterCard, Visa and American Express payments, and is available 7 days a week (except during scheduled downtime: 11 pm-3 am Sunday nights). Although the system will display your current account balance (which may include tuition for Spring 2020 as well as Winter Session), UAccess will accept any dollar amount in order for you to pay your Winter Session fees only. In compliance with the University policy on email, correspondence from the Bursar's Office will be sent to your official UA email account.

Financial Ineligibility [past-due accounts] - Students with past-due debts are considered financially ineligible. University services will be withheld, including, but not limited to: registration, grades, transcripts, and diplomas. Until the debt is paid in full, you will also be assessed a monthly Past Due Balance Charge. Please refer to Holds and Collection on the Bursar's website.
Collections - Unpaid balances may be sent to a collection agency and reported to the credit bureau. Students are responsible for all collection costs and legal fees.
You are entitled to a refund or a cancellation of your outstanding balance if you officially drop course(s) by the deadline for refund. Please check the dates and deadlines.
You are not entitled to a refund if:
- You do not cancel your classes and still remain on the class roster.
- You drop a class after the published refund deadlines.
- You made an error in registering. Recheck your schedule!
Tuition is due for Winter Session courses on Monday, December 19, 2022. Payments made after that date will be charged a $50 late fee. Students who are eligible to receive financial aid for Spring 2022 should read the Winter Session Financial Aid information.
